About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 5 years of experience working with a diverse population. I focus on an individual's strengths within complicated situations and times in our lives. My approach to working with clients is through a systems lens, looking at intrinsic strengths, community, and areas of growth. I understand that it's very normal for people to go through extremely challenging times, seeking help during those times is a sign of strength.

In my counseling approach I provide direct and supportive feedback. I aim to be another positive support in your life as well as explore areas of growth. I work towards building new skills and changing mindsets depending on each individual situation and experience.

I'm looking forward to working together!

Adam has been such an amazing help on this path to a better understanding myself and my role in my life’s aspirations and lessons. This was the first time I’d reached out to a therapist, and I’m so glad I did. I’ve laughed and cried and pushed through so much with the help of Adam and his wonderful insight. He picks up on patterns that I otherwise would’ve fallen right back into without his careful attention. Not to mention, I’ve been able to love myself so much better thanks to our sessions. I appreciate the heck outta you, Adam!

I've given Adam a positive review before, but I wanted to update it now that I've been working with him for longer (about 6 weeks). He is remarkably insightful, supportive, and willing to meet you where you are. He asks great questions, is nonjudgmental, and notices patterns that I hadn't seen in my own behavior even after doing a lot of work on my own. I'm looking forward to continuing to work with him.

So far he has been sympathetic and supportive but not patronizing, which has always been my fear when considering therapy.

Adam immediately responded to my goals and jumped right on board with assistance to meet them. He was very responsive and had great recommendations. He is also very patient. I definitely recommend him.

I have never had therapy and was very afraid, and vulnerable, but Adam made it extremely easy to talk. He asked insightful questions that really made me think. Adam, I believe, stays present in the conversation and focuses on ME. He is nonjudgmental, super supportive, and provided excellent growing tools for me to improve my mind. I look forward to the continued sessions.
