About me

Hi, my name is Alyssia Woolard I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 10 years of experience. I enjoy working with patients struggling with emotional/psychiatric diagnosis, life transitions and improving self esteem. I also have experiences working with domestic violence clients and educational/career goal planning. I come from a mixed race Military family background; which has afforded me many different life experiences I have learned from.
My counseling style is open and interactive, but mainly what will work for you as my client. My goal is to develop a strong trusting therapeutic relationship in order to help you reach your goals and meet your needs. I have a strong belief that through understanding and awareness of one’s behaviors and choices comes the ability to develop the means to make needed changes and to take necessary actions.
If you need support to get through a rough time in your life and seek someone to listen and help weather its depressive symptoms, self esteem, relationships or career, please feel free to reach out. I look forward to meeting you and getting to know more about your goals and needs.

Alyssia is wonderful to work with! She’s so down to earth and is a great listener. She’s made counseling much more enjoyable than I anticipated it would be, and I’m looking forward to implementing her advice.

I appreciate my sessions with Alyssia so much. She never makes me feel judged for anything I want to express or work through. I feel super grateful to have found a counselor who makes me feel comfortable to share whatever I need to. Couldn’t think of a counselor better fit for me than Alyssia.
