My name is Amber Carlile and I am interested in working with you to help you achieve your goals. I hold a clinical social work license in both Missouri and Kansas. I worked in child welfare for two years, then with adults experiencing mental illness for four years. In all, I have about nine years of varied experience in my current field. I regularly attend training to maintain my education and have worked with folks who come from various diverse circumstances.
I utilize both short term intervention styles such as Solution Focused Brief Therapy which will help you identify immediate areas of opportunity in your life. I also utilize cognitive behavioral therapies skills which can help you identify ways negative thinking is impacting your life and how to change those thoughts when they come up.

Amber is supportive and realistic. She provides a judgement-free zone and has really helped me improve my mental health. She is flexible with scheduling and trying out what works best for you. I am very comfortable talking to Amber.
In just a short time I have been able to get back to a better state of mind just knowing she understood me and helped me understand these feelings. I'd absolutely recommend her to any of my friends or family
Amber has been so amazing and I appreciate having her in my life right now. She is helping me so much and actually listens when I speak to her!
