About Me
I’m order to heal, we need to give ourselves permission to feel. I am Amy Oneal, M.Ed, NCC, LPC. Thank you for trusting me as a part of your mental health healing journey! I serve as a licensed therapist in Georgia and a professional school counselor with 18 years of experience. I present a wealth of experience in diverse therapeutic settings.
My primarily work setting is with children, though also works with young adults, adolescents, and couples. Clinical interests mostly revolve around child and adolescent trauma, anger management, women’s health, and notably, technology/video game addiction.
I am trained in Child and Adolescent Trauma (CAPT) and has received training in Play Therapy. I incorporate mindfulness-based practices and interventions. I have recently worked with Immigration status and Dreamers as a Board member of Nothing But The Truth Ministries for 6 years advocating and teaching academic support to children and families.
In addition to her work with clients, I facilitate presentations on Child Trauma to teachers in a school setting.
I look forward to working with you!

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Amy ONeal. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I have recommended Amy to other people.
Any of attentive and understanding. She relates to what I need by giving examples that really work for me. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
