About Me

Join me in a collaborative and powerful exploration of your inner world! I'm honored to have held space for clients since 1998. Offering an authentic invitation to self-inquiry stems from my belief in the unlimited potential for growth & healing within us all. I view health and wellbeing holistically and recognize the coexistence of personal uniqueness and a transpersonal element that is beyond our individual self yet part of us and connecting us All. I believe in the power of reconnecting with Nature as a means to heal. Depending on the individual client, I utilize different methods and techniques drawn from different theories to best suit your present state of being but draw heavily on modalities that incorporate mindfulness. I train, supervise, and mentor mental health clinicians and am often sought out by other therapists for consultation, client referral, and therapy for themselves. I have a strong clinical background yet am laidback which disarms even the most reluctant client.
I have worked in a variety of settings in the US and internationally. Facing generational trauma, releasing patterns that no longer serve, and embracing our higher-Self requires showing up with courage and accepting support.
My theoretical underpinning is Transpersonal in nature, within this philosophical umbrella, I practice a compassionate Psychodynamic approach to therapy. Depending on the individual client, I use different methods and techniques drawn from different theories to best suit the client’s present state of being but draw heavily on Somatic, MCBT, ACT, and DBT due in large part to these modalities use of mindfulness and body-centered exploration.
I use different methods and techniques from many theoretical approaches depending on the needs of individual clients served: methods from Cognitive-Behavioral, Mindfulness-based Cognitive-Behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic, Existential, Gestalt, Reality therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Family Systems, EFT/Tapping. Additionally, I have experience working within the milieu of wilderness therapy and animal-assisted psychotherapy. I employ yoga therapeutically as I am a certified and registered yoga teacher. I work part-time in a brick-and-mortar private practice as well as on a farm with the support of a unique co-facilitator, a horse, as I am certified as an equine-facilitated psychotherapist with the H.E.A.L. model.
I earned my Master of Science (2000) in Clinical Counseling and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (1993). As a dual Licensee of both the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists and the Arkansas State Board of Examiners in Counseling, I abide by both state’s Code of Ethics, as well as the Code of Ethics of the American Counseling Association. To maintain my license I am required to participate in continuing education, taking classes dealing with subjects relevant to this profession.

If you are ready, connect with me and begin your journey of embracing who you are truly meant to be!
