Ariana is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who received their Master’s Degree in Couple and Family Therapy, along with a certificate in LGBT Human Services and Mental Health, from Alliant International University in 2016. Ariana has a wide range of clinical experience including: life transitions, relational issues (family, partnerships, coworkers, etc.), men’s issues, women’s issues, anxiety and stress related disorders, depressive/mood disorders, diversity and cross-cultural issues, and parent/child relationships including parent education and support. Additionally, Ariana has over six years of experience working with victims of intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and child abuse (all ages/genders). Ariana also has ongoing experience helping sexual and/or gender minorities navigate identity formation, religious/spiritual conflict, coming out crisis, integration, and other issues that might arise.
There are various reasons why one might choose to seek therapy, as no-one escapes the pain of life. Ariana has confidence in her training, skills, and experience to help you better understand and navigate these painfully emotional experiences. By utilizing Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Ariana aims to help you identify, and unlearn, negative thoughts and feelings in order to replace them with safer, and healthier, ways of thinking. Additionally, Ariana is influenced by Narrative Therapy, which aims to help folks reauthor and reshape stories that they have about themselves. This collaborative approach creates space to think about not only how the problem impacts you, but how you might begin to impact the problem. Finally, Ariana also incorporates art therapy, movie therapy, and bibliotherapy (reading novels, self-help books, etc.) to help unconscious thoughts and feelings surface and become conscious experiences.

Such an amazing therapist. I only had a short time with her, but I absolutely adore her! She is so sweet, relatable, wise, and easy to open up to. I looked forward to every one of our sessions, and feel that I’ve grown so much in the little time I spent with her. She has helped me start to be gentler with myself and open my mind to different perspectives of myself. Would recommend ♡
Ariana has provided an excellent introduction to therapy and I especially enjoy that she is using a variety of newer techniques to support my journey. I would highly recommend her.
