About Me

Welcome! I am an independently practicing Licensed Clinical Social Worker. In addition to my services here, I am also in private practice specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is an evidence-based treatment that goes beyond "talking about your feelings" to taking active steps to improve your quality of life. I approach therapy as a collaboration between myself and the patient, and together we can discuss your treatment goals and priorities. My goals as the therapist are to make you feel comfortable, validated, and empowered throughout the process. I believe that my clients find me candid, authentic, and compassionate....with a side of humor. We all struggle with different issues, and making the decision to seek out help is a brave one. You are here, and I can help.

The technology at Betterhelp has allowed us to further the treatment process by having several interactions per day/week, which can intensify the therapeutic relationship, while allowing for rapid change.

The comfort of knowing she's literally a "text" away makes my hard days that much easier. Ashley has been nothing but amazing and supportive since I joined BetterHelp. She's keeping me going.

Ashley is very friendly and leads the conversation or at least my thoughts in the right directions. Easing my decision making and thought processes in the meantime. Thanks for your kind words and inspiration.

Ashley is so great. She has been able to point to the cause beneath the cause for a lot of my concerns. I always feel like she has my best interest in mind and truly cares about whatever we are discussing.

Great therapist who responds timely, and whom I feel understands me and what I am going through.

Being in crisis is not easy, and if you don’t have anyone to sound off to it can make you spiral down fast. Ashley became my lighthouse of encouragement, assuring me that I wasn’t alone in this battle; she was my wingman! I can’t tell you how good it makes me feel to have an educated advocate who both supports me and challenges me to look at things from a different perspective. She’s is equal parts cheerleader and coach.

Ashley was such a big help to me during a time when I was really struggling to find a way forward. She is so friendly, positive, and encouraging. She helped me get to a point where I can handle any of the bad things that come up on my own and to where I feel like I don't need help anymore. Thank you so much Ashley for all your help. If it ever comes to a point where I feel like I need counseling again, I'll will definitely talk to Ashley again, but I don't feel like I will need to thanks to her.

Ashley "gets" me. Both as a client, and as a person. I feel comfortable expressing myself with her, and felt an immediate relief from many of the issues I brought to her. I felt heard and validated.

Ashley has been great so far! With my move down to Toronto and huge career transition I haven't been in touch but now that I'm settling in I want to continue to see the benefits from this.

Ashley is a very personable counselor and it has made it easier talking with her with some things in common, ie: outdoor things and traveling. She has been an overall great person to talk to and would recommend her to anyone who is down to earth. She is great at offering some encouraging words as well.

I have had a few sessions with Ashley and so far, great, she totally gets it, is thoughtful with her questions and gives insight to the fog depression has caused me!

Ashley gets me. She wants for me what I want. She's very compassionate and understanding. Her style helps motivate me to do work outside of therapy in order to help control my anxiety. I have a lot of negative self-talk she really motivates me to want to change that, I have felt much mentally better since she has been working with me.
