Avi Zadaka

About Me

I’m Avi-Natan Zadaka, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)

I have a difficult time with ‘Bio’s’. How am I supposed to write about myself in a one-dimensional way? Do you really understand who I am because I write about my best characteristics? No. I don’t think you do.

BUT, that doesn’t mean I can’t be of service to you.

You see, I won’t do to you which I wouldn’t want to be done to me. I will strive to listen to your whole being, as best I can. I will hear your problem, as well as the inner need or fear. I will connect with you as a human, on this shared experience that we explore together, with sensitivity and care.
With my background in trauma-informed treatment, relational perspectives, and EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy) - I am confident that our alliance will prove to be worthwhile and valuable.

Avi Zadaka is professional and helpful. One way he’s really been able to help me is by explaining what’s actually happening to my body with regards to PTSD and the related symptoms I suffer from.

I would recommend Avi to anyone that is looking for a bit of stability and structure during their recovery process. Avi is thorough in getting to know you at the begin of the process which can be a bit overwhelming to say the least, however, doing so allows him to really get to know you and customize your session and recovery process in general. I would also recommend him for EMDR.

Avi is extremely easy to talk to and makes me feel as comfortable as possible. He asks great questions that force me to really think, and also has a good sense of humor. He makes counseling really enjoyable.
