About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing individual and couple psychotherapy services in the Roseville area. I have experience helping individuals overcome a variety of issues including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma histories, eating disorders, relationship conflicts, substance abuse, and more. I have been providing counseling and therapy services for over 4 years and have been working in the mental health field for almost 10 years.

A little about me: I was born and raised In the state of Minnesota, and I lived there until moving to Colorado to start my graduate degree at the University of Denver. There, I met my husband, and his work brought me here to California. Since a young age, I knew I wanted to work in a career helping others. I am passionate about helping individuals throughout their mental health journey because I know how tough, amazing, and worthwhile it can be. My goal is to get you to a place of health and healing and free you from any barriers that may be keeping you from being your true and authentic self.

When practicing therapy, I use a variety of approaches to best fulfill your therapeutic needs. I come from a person-centered perspective, because I know that you are the expert on your own life. I use cognitive styles to help shift your ways of thinking from hurtful to uplifting, as well as a psychodynamic approach to better understand how you’ve gotten to where you are today. I believe that beneficial therapy only comes from a place of mutual trust and respect.

Thank you for taking the time to look for the right therapist for you and take a step towards an even healthier YOU.

Brittany has helped me so much in such a short period of time. I can always count on her to respond at least once a day and its like confiding in a good friend. I cannot recommend her enough.
