The approach I take is to work on two areas:
First, we figure out the practical things you need to start feeling better. That might be deciding what coping skills work best for you, or it might be figuring out how your thinking patterns might be affecting how you feel on a daily basis.
The second area to work on is the "insight" piece. What beliefs do you have that are affecting how you see yourself? Where did those come from?
