About Me

Hello from sunny Florida! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in the counseling field. I like to tell my clients, I'm not your average therapist. Throughout my career I have worked with many different populations from homeless individuals, at risk families, drug prevention programs, drug and alcohol rehabs, and even huge managed care companies. Throughout all of these places I began to notice one thing that my clients always told me, I was not like other therapists. I strive to be relatable, down to earth and have therapy feel more natural rather than stuffy and uncomfortable. I have extensive experience in addictions and know how hard it can be to go down the road of becoming sober. I have first hand experience of caring for a loved one with mental illness and trying to find balance in your daily life. I understand how overwhelming life can be, I hope I can be a source of support and help you through your time of need.

I utilize multiple approaches in my work with clients from CBT, solution focused, gestalt and mindfulness. I really tailor my work based on the person I am working with and the needs they present, therapy is not one size fits all.

Very nice, response times getting a bit slow and responses seem terse lately but overall really helpful and understanding

Charity really tries to relate to my experiences during the sessions. She also seems to care about my progress by commenting on my journal posts right after I share them with her.
