Cheryl is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who has had a diverse career in working with individuals and groups. She has had the privilege of working with clients with life altering medical conditions, foster care/adoption, Veterans Administration hospital, court ordered programming, correctional institutions and individuals who experienced violence. Cheryl utilizes modalities such as emotional intelligence, cognitive behavioral therapy, and restorative practices. Cheryl is an excellent listener who strives to meet each client where they are in life, and work collaboratively to produce outcomes that move her clients toward positive decision making and resolution of issues that have created barriers. Cheryl has learned as much from her clients as she has from her education and life experiences which then attributes to a very individualized approached with the goal that each client is able to take what they have learned and apply the approaches to other areas of their lives in the future.
