I worked with Christina for 10 months following the loss of my mother to cancer. I wasn’t sure what to expect from grief counseling since I knew nothing would change the fact my mom was gone, but Christina provided the warmest space for me to vent, cry, process what happened, and how to navigate all the ways I would have to learn to cope in life with such a profound loss. Christina was kind, compassionate but also always encouraged me to try and redirect my thoughts and actions to ultimately help me and my actual needs. She taught me how critical self-care truly is and to never be afraid to make myself a priority when I need to. I would highly recommend Christina to anyone who has also felt overtaken by loss or grief. I truly feel like I’m better off today than I was at the beginning of the year thanks to her!

Christina not only gives me comfort, but she understands what I am looking for in counseling. She is great at suggesting alternative ways to look at how I approach things and is excellent with Cognitive Behavior Theory which is the method I prefer. My goal is to change my thinking process and although I tend to be somewhat reluctant to let go of past concerns, she is encouraging, patient, and supportive.

I've only been working with her a few weeks but already she's been extremely helpful and I appreciate all she's offered and done for me.

I have been working with Christina for a few months, and I have found it to be extremely helpful. She combines offering helpful coping and behavioral techniques with empathetic and active listening. She is also active in between our weekly sessions, and checks in with me to see how I'm doing on something I've identified as a challenge or a goal I've set. I have no doubt that Christina genuinely cares and wants to see me succeed. With her support, I'm tackling processing some of the most difficult periods of my life and moving on from traumas. She is truly wonderful!
