About Me

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in California with over 15 years of experience working with individuals on ways to cope and manage their life challenges. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, career challenges, parenting challenges, relationship issues and life transitions.

My counseling style is warm, understanding, supportive/empathetic and non-judgmental. My hope is to create an environment that is safe and encourages you to share about the current challenges in your life. I like to identify strengths and build on those strengths. My approach is an eclectic counseling style in which I may incorporate person-centered, cognitive behavioral and solution focused into the sessions. I like to meet you where you are at in life and assist with identifying realistic goals to focus on during sessions.

It takes courage to reach out for assistance and that already demonstrates a strength. My hope to assist you through your current challenges to be able to cope effectively and find peace in your life.

I look forward to working with you!

I was very skeptical at first about online counseling because I didn’t think I could connect to a therapist over the phone but decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did. Christine has been very helpful in regards to my anxiety and helping me think about issues I may be having in a different and more positive way. She is very insightful and I usually get off the phone with something positive to think about.
I would recommend her to anyone who needs help with anxiety and depression. I’m sure she would be helpful in other areas as well but those are my specific issues we are focused on. I actually look forward to our conversations and feel comfortable expressing myself and sharing details of my life with Christine. I have recommended her to a friend and am encouraging her to select her as my friend’s counselor.
