About Me

** Not Currently Accepting New Clients **

Hi! I am Colleen and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Therapy can by a scary choice but, often, it is the right one. I offer various treatment options and we will find the one that works best for you as an individual. I have been in the mental health field for much of my career and in a clinical role for 10+ years. I have experience working in the inpatient mental health, outpatient mental health, and also the community settings. I utilize multiple approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and others while always working from a strengths perspective. We will work to find the best approach to meet your needs and reach your goals.

Are you living your best life? Sometimes life can be overwhelming. Problems arise. Issues seem to linger. Our thoughts and feelings seem to control our day. Life may be controlling you rather than you controlling your life. I will work alongside you to identify the concerns, issues, and problems in a setting that is comfortable and non-judgmental. We will work together to identify the treatments and strive for measurable success and progress. I strive to treat the whole person and work with you to live your best life.

Let's begin to work together to live your best life.

Wrapping up I missed two years with her and she’s been wonderful. I hate that she’s going on to different things and I’m really going to miss her but I think she’s done a great job preparing me to handle this grief on my own.

I have only been working with Colleen for a couple of weeks now, but I feel as though I have been given a variety of strategies to manage my anxiety. She is refreshing in her responses and does not try to downplay how I am feelings. She’s open and honest, and is very helpful! She makes me feel at ease!

She gets me. I'm not sure how she does it not hearing my voice. There is nothing missed in the messages sent. She is great at what she does.

Colleen is very receptive, understanding, and has given me so many insights and tools to help me overcome my anxiety and other issues. I am still working on implementing the tools, and Colleen has been supportive in my journey. Her availability, knowledge, and wisdom have been so important to me. I appreciate her very much as my counselor.

I was at a very low point in my life when I decided to reach out for help. I lived every day in fear and another panic attack was always right around the corner. When I met Colleen, she started helping me in a very measurable way starting on day one where she was able to derail a panic attack. Throughout the last month, she had taught me the skills to cope with my fears and how to face them head on. I went from anxiety and fear consuming my nearly every waking thought to just living my life again and enjoying it. I could not have asked for a more gifted and wonderful person to get me through a terrible time in my life. Words cannot express how thankful I am for Colleen!!!

Colleen has been instrumental in giving me the tools to cope with stress and depression. She’s helped me transform myself to have greater confidence that I can succeed in life again. I would recommend her to anyone that just can’t seem to handle what life is throwing at them anymore. She’s friendly, patient, responsive and encouraging.
