I have been working in the mental health field since 2008 where I began working at an addictions treatment and inpatient psychiatric facility. I have over 10 years experience working with adults with addiction and co-occurring mental health concerns. I have spent time working with children under the age of three, focusing on work with their parents to manage parenting concerns, employment and socioeconomic concerns as well as educational concerns. I have had the opportunity to spend a portion of my career working in individual therapy with a focus on clients with severe and persistent mental illness functioning within the community. Fortunately, I have had the good fortune to work in a day treatment program, managing a caseload of clients, assisting in additional resources and referrals while running multiple groups a day with focus on self esteem, anger management, addictions and cognitive behavioral therapy. For the last three years I have been working in Psychiatric Emergency and Crisis Services where I have been working with individuals within the community, assessing them during times of crisis and struggling and working collaboratively with clients, families and community providers to provide next steps and appropriate referrals for ongoing treatment and stabilization.

She is fantastic and is great at helping me break down problems to find healthy productive solutions.
Cortney is great, and really helps me thinking through things!
Cortney is the best counselor I have seen. She showed a great deal of commitment, flexibility, and a perfect balance of personal vs. professional. Cortney made an extremely difficult time in my life much easier to navigate - she would formulate my thoughts and feelings into the questions I needed to ask myself but didn't know how. She really did listen and it showed throughout her service. Thank you so much Cortney!
Cortney is super sweet and very understanding of my goals as well as my daily struggles. She also can relate to me because shes a mom of children my sons age. I enjoy our sessions and look forward to them. She gives me tips and tricks as well as recommendations, life experience and coping mechanisms to help me along the way. We work well together.
After just a couple of sessions working with Cortney, I have already felt improvements in the areas I wanted to tackle. Best of all, my partner has felt those too, enabling a virtuoso cycle. I am excited to continue learning and practicing with Cortney!
Cortney is very knowledgable and helpful! She truly listens to you and find ways to help you, methods tailored to you, specifically. I just wish there were methods of communication outside of messaging, like a video chat would be helpful. But she always responds quickly and says what you need to hear, not necessarily what you want her to say. It's been incredibly helpful to me and I already see a change in myself.
I love talking to Courtney. It seems as though she is down to earth enough to understand my concerns and needs with my life & she reacts as a normal human rather than someone who would be condescending! She always has such great ideas for me!
Cortney is friendly and approachable. She absolutely makes me feel like my concerns are heard.
Quick to the point:
1) love that she does not snub me when I ask how she is doing
2) very helpful with reminders (which I need)
3) willing to go the extra mile
