About Me

Welcome!! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor licensed in Georgia with 12 years' experience working with teens and young adults as a counselor and therapist. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a dual Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling. Throughout my experience, I have focused on working with children and adolescents who may be dealing with a variety of situations. Teenage years are difficult in and of themselves and I enjoy helping to navigate through all of the questions that come up in life. I have a passion for building confidence in teenagers as well as providing realistic tools to help deal with trauma, depression, anxiety, and self-esteem.

My style is open, honest, and laid back. My goal is to connect on a level that is comfortable. I am warm and compassionate while also remaining non-judgmental. The base of my approach is person-centered, healing-centered, and trauma-informed. My goal is to empower, encourage, and challenge my clients to grow and find purpose in life. I have been trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and have a passion for Resiliency!

We all have a story that affects the way we think, feel, and act. By raising awareness of triggers and identifying patterns of behavior, we can connect the dots to develop strategies of coping that works best for you!

My belief is that no matter what hand life has dealt you, there is power and healing in connection and resolution to trauma. Healing and growth can take place when we are ready to work through our past and present experiences. I partner with my clients to find the best coping skills and strategies to help them address their day to day life struggles. You can count on me to be responsive and ready to meet you where you are. The therapeutic process is beautiful and rewarding. I hope to work with you as you walk through your journey.

I look forward to working with you!
