With a Master's degree in clinical counseling, I have a bachelor's in exercise science/holistic health. As a yoga/fitness instructor and personal trainer of 40+ years, holistic health, somatic feedback and mindfulness are core components in my therapeutic approach to healing. I believe in tending to the health of our mind, body, and spirit rather than treating them as separate. I believe the are each sources of information and healing and each impact the other; I have witnessed profound changes in clients who have learned how to seek balance and harmony in their holistic health.
Sober 15 years, and with many years of experience in addictions/recovery, I have also recovered from 2 major back surgeries and understand how to manage chronic pain. I specialize in chronic pain, trauma, depression/anxiety and healing. I prefer to work with adults.
I have a humanistic approach to therapy; I embrace the magic of existentialism and Gestalt; I celebrate the capacity of the human brain and body to always seek health; I chose the viewpoint that we are energetic beings with the essence of joy our source; I appreciate the honor of witnessing and embracing life.
I would describe myself as a curious, mature, independent-thinking, solution-focused, trauma-informed, heart-embracing, optimistic woman with many ideas, skills and tools to help others enhance their quality of life.

In my first session with Dana, I felt so seen and understood. She validated exactly how I was feeling and helped me process my emotions through both my body and my words. Meeting with her has quite literally helped me feel like I can breathe easy again.
I appreciate Dana’s insight and the overall feeling of well being that comes from working with someone towards person goals. I find the online platform to be accessible and helpful, especially since most of us have our phones with us all the time.
Dana helped me open up and taught me how to think introspectively. She is great!
Very intelligent and intuitive—helpful insights I wasn’t able to arrive at in my own. Highly recommend.
Dana has been an amazing asset during one of the busiest times of my life as a mother and professionally. She has helped me with mental framing, relaxation, has lended me a listening ear when my anxiety needed it the most, and has also been the better voice I needed exactly when I needed to hear it. I truly look forward to our sessions for her insight on bettering myself in all aspects of life. Thank you Dana!
Dana is wonderful and I really feel like she listens and understands me, even when I sometimes don't have much to say.
Dana has great intuition combined with a breadth of experience in areas that align with my needs. In a short period of time I have had multiple “aha” moments. It’s still a process and I’m long from “cured” but I’m seeing areas I have control over that I didn’t see before.
Dana made me feel comfortable and heard. She is kind, enthusiastic, and very professional. I look forward to continuing to work with her.
Dana is a truly wonderful human being. In just the short time that I've been working with her I have felt more open and more heard than I ever have working with other councilors!
Dana is an amazing spirit who is truly dedicated to helping her patients heal. I cannot say enough good things about her! She is very easy to connect with and doesn't just ask you questions to get you to talk, she gives you the tools you need to heal and grow while explaining how/why these are the tools she uses.
Dana is a wonderful therapist! She's very helpful and insightful. Her perspectives are very useful for everything from trauma to anxiety to getting motivated. She's also very kind and funny and I would recommend her to anyone.
I have been putting off talking to someone for a while but figured it was time. I could not have asked for a better person to talk to. Dana is an incredibly responsive and passionate person wanting to help. She is so understanding and knowledgeable. She was able to connect with me immediately and understood some of my troubles and how to turn them into good! She has given me a couple great suggestions and things to work on and I am very excited to put them into use to become a better person! I will definitely be speaking with Dana again!
