About Me

I am currently a therapist for a Juvenile Center in the Ohio town I live. I have been there four years and find great joy in helping the youth find meaning , change and support. Through my career I have primarily worked with adults in various settings. I have Hospice experience which is where I gained my passion for grief and loss as well as dealing with phase of life changes. This hit home to me hard the past 4 years as I watched and cared for my mother who battled Ovarian Cancer. She passed away November 2019 and I took a step back from my private practice work and just focused on my healing as well as my work at the Juvenile Center. I am working with teens who are in the juvenile justice system and the parents of juvenile delinquency. I have extensive experience with inpatient psychiatric care, crisis intervention, hospice and chronic medical illness, as well as a wide range of mental health and relationship issues. I have a passion for helping people find peace of mind and strength to face the challenges that they are facing.

Dayna is personable and really takes the time to listen. She also sends resources and is willing to work through those as well. I would recommend her to anyone/everyone. She truly cares about her clients.

Dayna has been very helpful to me during a particularly trying time of my life. I tried 3 therapists prior to her and none of them really helped me move forward in my healing journey. I am so appreciative of her help.
