Debra Bryant, LCSW
About me
As a licensed therapist with extensive experience serving clients across Illinois, I bring a compassionate and holistic approach to mental health support. My professional journey spans four decades, during which I've developed deep expertise in helping individuals navigate complex emotions (including depression and anxeity), relationship challenges, grief/loss processes, self-esteem issues, communication difficulties, and life transitions.
My practice centers on supporting clients through diverse experiences—from social anxiety, relationship concerns, and workplace stress to chronic health conditions, communication barriers, and aging-related concerns. I specialize in creating supportive environments where individuals can explore personal growth, improve communication, and rediscover their sense of purpose.
I believe in meeting each person exactly where they are, offering gentle guidance and evidence-based strategies to support their unique healing journey. My goal is to provide a warm, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their challenges and cultivate resilience.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Debra Bryant. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Debra always listens to me and attends to whatever I need to talk about. Whenever she sees I am very stressed out or anxious, she will do a guided imagery with me to help me relax. Whenever I'm not as stressed, she lets me have the space to vent about everything I need to talk about. She checks in with things I've told her about in previous sessions, and after she checks in with those things, she asks me if there's anything else I want/need to talk about. She always seems to know what I need in the moment, whether it's just venting and figuring out what to do about the situation, or if it's doing a guided imagery. I would highly recommend her for anyone who doesn't want anything solved right away and just needs to vent. She has a gentle tone in her voice that calms you down right away, and the guided imagery is always a calm experience when she reads them to you. She is a very gentle and caring therapist, and you can tell she wants you to best version of yourself. :)
