About Me
When you feel like you’re just spinning your wheels, counseling can help you gain the traction you need to get your life moving forward again.
Counseling can help you learn how to stop struggling with such difficulties as worry, unhappiness, self-doubt, lack of motivation, loneliness, homesickness, or the pain of loss.
Counseling can help you get unstuck from repeated struggles with yourself and difficulties with others.
In our meetings, you and I will work together to identify the roadblocks that keep holding you back. I will assist you in creating permanent strategies to get past those roadblocks and start living the life you want to live.
I am available for live sessions (video or phone) from early morning through afternoon on weekdays.
Early risers, take note! Depending on the day, I may have morning appointments available as early as 3:45 AM Pacific/4:45 AM Mountain/5:45 AM Central/6:45 AM Eastern.
My final appointment of the day typically ends by 12:45 PM Pacific/1:45 PM Mountain/2:45 PM Central/3:45 PM Eastern.
I am licensed to provide counseling if you are physically located in California, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Indiana, Ohio, or Pennsylvania.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Dennis Forfa. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
He listens to what I have to say and provides good advice. He is honestly one of the best therapists I have ever spoken to
Great therapist.
Great!!!
Dennis knows practical and thoughtful ways to advise me. His insight is immediately executable and I find myself leaving his sessions highly motivated to change my life for the better.
Dennis is a fantastic therapist. I feel that he fully understands me and I feel very heard, respected and helped with him. He knows that I am looking to make impactful steps for bettering myself and gives me the tools I need to make those changes. I am so grateful for him because he helped me at a time where I was at my lowest and we have worked together to build myself back up. Thank you Dennis
Dennis is the best!!! I feel a lot better after 3 sessions. He listens and gives excellent advice. I wouldn't go to any other therapist. Thanks for all your help Dennis!
Before my first session, I was initially sceptical of therapy and its merits. However, after working with Dennis, I felt significantly better and made consistent progress during my sessions. I would highly recommend Dennis as a therapist. His friendly and relaxed style has been crucial in creating a good relationship.
Dennis has been a lifeline for me during a difficult time in my life. I really appreciate the guidance and comfort he has provided to me.
He has been highly respectful of my boundaries and allows me to lead our conversations and have given me many ways of helping with my anxiety!
Dennis is the best therapist i’ve had so far. From our first session he was able to adapt to my needs to make sure that I felt comfortable. He actively listens and asks good questions which made me realize alot of things and made it easier to work on those things later on. I definitely recommend Dennis Forfa to anyone who needs therapy, especially if you’re dealing with stress, anxiety or depression.
