Hi, I'm Diane and I'm a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of New York. I graduated from Fordham University with a Masters in Social Work and I have been providing counseling and therapeutic services for the past 8 years. I have experience in both residential and outpatient settings with a wide array of clients and presenting problems, including anxiety, stress, trauma, depression, and adjusting to life changes. I am a firm believer in the mind-body connection and the profound healing that comes from integrating mind and body. I am also a certified yoga instructor and I have been teaching yoga for the past 4 years.
My therapeutic approach involves drawing from different theories, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotional Freedom Techniques, and Mindfulness. I offer concrete tools and skills to assist with managing day-to-day challenges while also working with thought patterns and beliefs that may be consciously or unconsciously held. I tailor my approach to meet each individual's needs and build upon already existing strengths.
