Diane Martori

(LCSW)

About Me

Hi, I'm Diane and I'm a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of New York. I graduated from Fordham University with a Masters in Social Work and I have been providing counseling and therapeutic services for the past 8 years. I have experience in both residential and outpatient settings with a wide array of clients and presenting problems, including anxiety, stress, trauma, depression, and adjusting to life changes. I am a firm believer in the mind-body connection and the profound healing that comes from integrating mind and body. I am also a certified yoga instructor and I have been teaching yoga for the past 4 years.

My therapeutic approach involves drawing from different theories, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotional Freedom Techniques, and Mindfulness. I offer concrete tools and skills to assist with managing day-to-day challenges while also working with thought patterns and beliefs that may be consciously or unconsciously held. I tailor my approach to meet each individual's needs and build upon already existing strengths.

It is my hope that we can work together so you can feel peaceful, happy, and healthy!

Diane has been incredibly helpful and supportive, and is a great voice for reasoning through and validating my experiences and feelings. She provides great perspective for when I'm caught up in things, and has really helped me navigate some tough emotions and points in my life.

Diane has been my counselor for about 18 months and she’s helped me immensely in making changes in my life through a number of tools. Her feedback and questions have led me along a path of self-discovery and awareness that have led to change and I continue to live a better life because of it. She has shown great empathy for me in addition to her professional counseling skills.

Not only is Diane caring and compassionate, but also intelligent and effective listener. Her advice and resources are spot-on. She helped me process past experiences through EFT--the likes of which no other has done before, and can do at her level. Her methods get results. Highly recommend her without any hesitation.

Diane Martori is the best counselor I have had to date. She has done nothing but help me in many ways and continues to do so. I would recommend her to anyone who really needs help.

I felt an instant connection with Diane as she completely understands anxiety. She recognizes my habits and breaks them down to something I can View different and change. For every anxious thought, she has a solution and it works. I love working with her!

Diane is the best help that I ever had in my life. I've been to many doctors and therapists, but in one week she showed my compassion and effort than anyone else.
