Mr. McRae has been extremely helpful and encouraging in our first sessions. His knowledge is evident, but even more importantly his compassion coupled with a balance of listening and offering insight has been transformative and more effective than much of my counseling experience in recent years.
Very knowledgeable and I learn a lot every time.
Don has been an extremely helpful and understanding counselor. He always listens to my concerns and recommends further readings outside of our sessions that may help me.
Just had several sessions. Din listens, guides, and provides useful feedback and tools. Seeing some hope for improvement.
So far so good. I like how he was able to relate to me so quickly.
Donald McRae is a very helpful person, he knows exactly what he is doing and knows how to give very good specific details and tries his hardest to understand on what we are going threw.
Mr. McRae is excellent! He is always available (during business hours) and is eager to communicate with his clients! He is very knowledgeable and a great resource!
Don has been fantastic. He's great at listening but knows when and how to interject with support, advice and a plan. He's also very responsive and checks in on progress. Very happy to have him in my corner.
For someone who never thought counseling was for me, this has been an invaluable experience
A respectful and informed counselor
Don is very thorough and has helped guide me tremendously. He holds me accountable and is always able to offer sound advice. Don is also flexible. He has set up calls for weekends when slots filled up during the week. Don has a wealth of knowledge and resources that point toward growth. I am eternally grateful for his service and help!!
Donald has been my first counselor on Betterhelp and honestly, it's been much better than I expected. I had read so many horror stories of people having bad therapists on Betterhelp but Donald has been attentive, thorough, and really seems to have an understanding of how more sensitive people like me process emotions. For the first time in therapy, I don't feel judged or too much for someone to have to deal with. He really makes me feel normal and helps guide me in a way that I don't feel pressured or demanded. I really feel like we would have great success working together long-term!
Don was fantastic. He is insightful, an active listener, and very easy to talk to.
Donald is a fantastic counselor, and very easy to talk to. He was the first counselor I have ever spoken to, and I was immediate impressed by how closely he listened to and understood what I was saying.
Donald McRae is wonderful!
Very attentive and all around great guy
