Donamarie is a caring, responsive, supportive and experienced professional who continues to provide me with the resources needed to help me deal with the issues that I am currently facing.
After nearly a year of counseling, Donamarie continues to impress me with her knowledge, empathy, experience, and professionalism.
She is never pushy; she does not make me feel bad when I fail; she recognizes when I am becoming too isolated; and she makes sure to remind me that she is there for me. These are just a few of the wonderful things about her - there are many, many more.
Donamarie is extremely skilled at getting me to open up and to look at my issues from a variety of perspectives. I have seen quite a few counsellors in the past, but none have been even half as intelligent, open, and kind.
It is clear that Donamarie loves her work and that she is a seeker of knowledge who understands the importance of continuing education. She not only keeps up to date on the latest research and treatments, but she also accommodates and incorporates new information into her practice and her understanding of others. As a result, her openness and acceptance of others are boundless; a shining example of how we all could, and should, strive to be.
NOTE: Donamarie's areas of expertise include (but are not limited to) trauma, sexual abuse and sexual violence, depression, anxiety, and the complex relationships between psychological and physical pain (these are just a few areas that are relevant to my case specifically).
Donamarie is a very understanding and supportive councillor. I highly recommend! She has helped me sort through a lot of issues.
I've worked with Donamarie for the last 2 months. She is so understanding so caring and really helps me. I've suffered from anxiety for a long time. Her caring attitude, advice and tips on how to manage and cope with anxiety really help. I couldn't recommend her enough as a counsellor.
Great counselor. Understands my issues and helps me work through them. Very kind and respectful. Highly recommend her!
I have been receiving counseling from Donamarie for a few weeks and I must say that it has helped me greatly. I appreciate her view on situations that I share with her because she shares an objective opinion on the matters and suggests ways on how to deal with them. Also I found the exercise sheets interesting, it is a way to think deeper about underlying feelings that cause actions from my side.
I love that Donamarie is also a mother, she's helped me with my own parenting without ever making me feel judged.
She's also helping me through some more sensitive topics with kindness, compassion and expertise.
I would reccomend Donamarie to anyone, and look forward to working with her in the coming weeks.
I just started talking to Donamarie, but I have to say I have been able to be the most open and honest with her than I have with any other therapist I have had in the past in a traditional office setting, and I think she meshes well with my outlook on what methods I want to use to better myself and my mental health.
Donamarie has been an amazing support to me in a very difficult time. She is wonderful.
I always felt hesitant about reaching out but I'm very glad I did. Donamarie is very understanding and provides great knowledge besides multiple resources to find solutions. This has helped me meditate on my thoughts and figure out the best for me. She's definitely of great help.
Donamarie understands me and is always available when i need her. She makes me feel comfortable talking about things that would otherwise be an uncomfortable topic for me to discuss especially since this is my first time to seek for counselling.
Mrs. Oligino is great! She really listens and does her best to provide you with the help you need to over come the obstacles that you might be experiencing. She cares and really tries her best to offer you adequate solutions.
