Hi! My name is Elizabeth. I am a licensed clinical social worker, also known as a therapist. Whether this is your first time connecting with a therapist or you have had experience before, welcome! Getting to this point can be the hardest step.
A little about me: I completed graduate school in 2008, became fully licensed in 2010 and have been practicing ever since. I have worked in severe settings including emergency rooms and also have worked in outpatient therapy offices. I have been doing virtual therapy for the last four years.
What I can do for you: This platform allows me to help you so many ways. Often we don't feel comfortable meeting with someone and opening up about ourselves. This allows us to get to know each other in the way you prefer and at your pace.
I am not here to tell you what to do. We are a partnership. We will do this together. Whatever life stressors you are going through, I am here to help!

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Elizabeth Hance. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I am thoroughly enjoying my sessions with Elizabeth. She is kind and thoughtful. She listens and laughs and I am thrilled we got connected.
Elizabeth is wonderful. I had two other therapists with BH and could not connect well with them. But Elizabeth has been amazing. She has helped me manage work stress, relationship problems, moving struggles and the death of my sister. I couldn't recommend her more highly. She has always demonstrated compassion, respect and patience for me. She is a phenomenal provider and I'm grateful for her.
In light of this pandemic, I felt my personal and professional relationships taking a hit. It was the first time I felt like I needed to talk out my thoughts with someone neutral. Elizabeth was sensitive to my needs and brought up some great ideas for getting me on the right track. She has been consistent with getting back to me and making sure I continue on a healthy path. Highly recommend!
I’ve been having such an amazing experience with Elizabeth. I’ve noticed so much progress in myself since seeing her and I have to thank her for all of it!
She was amazing, I am glad I got to meet her in a short amount of time. She’s very understanding and made me realize that it wasn’t me who was at the root of my issues. I hope I get to meet with her again soon.
So far she listens and she helps guide me to ways that could help deal with my problems better
I could tell she was listening and paying attention. She was attentive and compassionate. She helped me verbalize what I was feeling. “Confused”. I simple term but it made me more aware of and in tune with my emotions.
I am thrilled to have Elizabeth as my counselor. She listens, remembers details from session to session, and help me navigate through issues that are truly impacting my emotional and mental wellbeing. While we have only been working together a short time, I feel as though she has known me for quite a while and can relate to what I’m going through. I also enjoy the goals that we set together and exercises that I am asked to complete. I have never had a counselor do that before, and didn’t realize the benefits of doing them. I truly feel blessed to have been paired with Elizabeth. In my time of great need, she has given me a sense of hope and something to look forward to.
She's been a great help. She's sweet and understanding. She gives great advice and has helped me with a lot. I honestly appreciate her.
