About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with close to 10 years social work experience working primarily with children, adolescents and families. I have worked with a wide range of client issues including trauma and attachment, anxiety, depression and personality disorders. I have worked with substance use co occurring disorders, as well as individuals with chronic and severe mental health such as bipolar disorder. I am trained in Motivational Interviewing and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as telehealth certifications and anxiety specific training. I have worked with many children and adolescents involved in the criminal justice system and the foster care system.

My counseling style is relaxed and engaging. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I believe strongly in a client centered, strengths based approach. The person who best suited to map out the direction of treatment is the client with a therapeutic assistance. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and psychodynamic approaches. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Beth is a great counselor and extremely caring. She understands my struggles and brings a lot of knowledge and insight. She’s super smart but also down to Earth. I highly recommend her approach to anyone struggling with past childhood trauma as an adult.

Beth is very supportive and encouraging. She provides an environment where you feel like you can share anything. She also provides sheets with tips and discussion to help with things like coping and change for the better.
