About Me

My name is Dr. Ethan Bregman and as a clinical psychologist, I have counseled adults in many areas of life difficulties. I utilize several strategies including but not limited to Mindfulness, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Supportive Models and Brief Solution Focused. I work with individuals who struggle with depression and anxiety as well as adjustment to life circumstances and challenges.

My counseling style is interactive and non-judgmental, utilizing empathy and humor when appropriate, as I believe humor is an important part of well-being. I ask questions that help individuals discover solutions and coping styles within themselves to help improve quality of life and self understanding.

I have a second are of expertise which is in sport psychology. I utilize wide range of clinical techniques addressing factors that impact athletic performance such as injury recovery, anger management, depression, stress reduction, anxiety, as well as interpersonal and adjustment issues. I recognize the challenges that athletes encounter regardless of their age or level of participation. I utilize my expertise and athletic experience to help restore overall wellbeing, balance and enjoyment, not only in sports, but life.

Dr. Bregman is a very nice person and a great therapist. He is easy to talk to, listens to what you have to say, has excellent advice and really seems to care. He sets realistic goals and I have already made progress with my problems.

He is great! He has taken the time to listen to my concerns, and then gives really helpful advice and techniques that I can work on before my next session - something that works really well for me personally. You can tell he is experienced and has strategies that he knows have worked with other people. Also uses humor at times which I really like!
