About My Approach:
My goal is to help you to create a meaningful and productive life by working together to understand what is important to you and what you want your world to be about.
I generally begin with an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy perspective that focuses on building a new approach to your experiences - called 'psychological flexibility.' Essentially, it's about understanding what we can't control, and recognizing and committing to doing things that we can control and that are personally valuable.
Whether that's your feelings, thoughts, medical conditions, life circumstances, or team dynamics - you can learn how to accept uncontrollable things for how they are, choose what is important to you, and take action in that direction.
Today, you can begin your valued and fulfilling life.

Psychologist #PSY.0005143 (Expires: 2021-08-01)
Dr. Roberts, as simply as I can put it, is an exceptional psychologist. She takes her time explaining different ideas/perspectives with knowledge and examples, to where you can easily apply it to what you’re going through. I still go through hard times, but having new skills to help me has made all the difference. I would strongly recommend Dr. Roberts to anyone looking for help!
