Hi, I'm Jeneva. Welcome to my page.
I am licensed as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Indiana and as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Kentucky. I began my career as a substance abuse counselor over eight years ago. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings treating substance and mental health disorders with adolescents and adults. I have specialized in treating military members and their families, Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PET), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), Christian Counseling, and advanced Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). However, I also utilize solution-focused, client-centered, cognitive processing, and narrative modalities as well.
I love my family (Marine Corps vet husband, four children and two grandchildren), time outdoors, renovating used furniture, and reading by a fire with a glass of wine. I have survived and found healing from difficulties that several of you may have experienced. Often when times get difficult, when struggling with mood or anxiety disorders, when the trauma clouds what’s in front of us, or when making things work seems impossible, having the right kind and amount of support is critical. I am flexible with my sessions scheduling, if at all possible, in order to meet your needs with the amount and type of communication that will help you through.
I believe in non-judgmental, genuine, open communication in the therapy relationship. Like all honest relationships, sometimes that requires warm, empathetic compassion that empowers. Other times it requires trusting, challenges that directs towards change and growth. I am goal-directed, structured, and growth-motivated; however, I create balance that respects your needs, values your own uniqueness, and is sensitive to your goals. We can travel your path together.
If you feel I am a good therapist for you, I would be honored to work with you. I look forward to meeting you! Please note that I have dedicated hours for live sessions; however, I am not limited to these times and open to collaborate at finding times that might works well outside of the ones listed.

Jeneva is a very patient and growth-minded counselor. She has been instrumental in helping me find ways to improve myself and make peace with the situations that life presents.
Jeneva is very compassionate, listens and is solution based. I was hit with quite a few significant life losses within a short amount of time and was starting to spiral with depression. We’ve had a few sessions and we’ve texted in between and I can tell she’s helping me already.
