Hello, I am Jennifer Watjen, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Indiana. I earned my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Roosevelt University and my doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Some areas that I have particularly assisted with include trauma, depression, anxiety, substance and alcohol abuse, psychotic spectrum disorders, navigating life transitions, resolving grief, improving relationships, developing emotional skills, and overcoming career challenges. I am an experienced psychotherapist with advanced training in strengths-based therapies with a focus on multiculturalism. I provide humanistic therapy services while incorporating useful skill-based interventions from a range of modalities including Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Therapy with Jennifer has changed everything. Sometimes I can’t believe the place I’m in now compared to when I began several months ago.
