About Me
I am a mental health counselor licensed in the state of Ohio with over ten years of experience. I have experience working with individuals ages 10 and over. Five years of my career was spent working on college campuses in their counseling centers with college-aged individuals. I currently work with a wide range of individuals and couples and work primarily with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and self-esteem. I am also certified in anger management.
I believe that every individual is unique and therefore my therapeutic approach is tailored towards the individual. I treat all my clients with respect, kindness, and warmth and do my best to provide a safe therapeutic environment. Much of my techniques is based on cognitive-behavioral therapy and I am a believer in utilizing "homework" outside of therapy at times to help clients stay progress-focused between appointments.
