About Me

Hi! My name is Jessica and I am so glad that you're here. It can be so difficult to reach out, but you are in the right place. I am a therapist who practices in Maryland I've been working with teenagers and adults for 15 years, after having received my degree from Smith College. I have seen that a connection with the right therapist can be incredibly healing to those who are struggling with a history of trauma, as well as those struggling in relationships or parenting. The work that we do together is sometimes difficult, but there is nothing worth doing that is easy, right?

My counseling style is warm, non-judgmental, and open. I work within an eclectic framework, pulling from psychodynamic, somatic, and behavioral therapies. I will tailor our work to your very specific needs. No two people are alike, and no two relationships are alike. You are the expert on your life. Together, we can be curious about what's going on and find the healing solution that's right for you.

You've taken a brave step. I know that you can feel better. We all need help sometimes.

I look forward to working with you!

Jessica is very every kind, attentive, and helpful therapist. She asks the right questions at the right times. I am excited to continue to work with her. I would very much recommend her to anyone in need of counseling.

Jessica has a gentle touch and non-judgmental approach that worked well for me. She is a good listener and helped me through some touchy relationship issues during my struggle with depression.

Jessica has been so supportive, zoning right in on the issues. This has been the best experience in therapy I've had. I get to examine topics in bite size pieces. Writing about my thoughts is also a very different form of therapy. I truly appreciate the insight I've gained in such a short time, with Jessica's help.

Jessica has been wonderful. This is my first experience with counseling, and I have a long way to go, but she is very helpful and accommodating.
