Counseling can often be the first step to finding hope again. I would be honored to partner with you on your journey back to hope.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida with a Master's of Science in Professional Counseling. For over five years I have had the privilege of providing counseling, support, and therapy to individuals, families, and children in the Tampa Bay area. I have also provided clinical support for both outpatient and residential social service programs. My experience includes working with individuals facing depression and anxiety, family conflict, anger concerns, parenting issues, and life changes/transitions. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Family System's/Attachment Theories: all while taking into account the social, emotional, spiritual, and biological influences facing the clients that I serve.
While utilizing a holistic and eclectic approach to therapy my focus starts with forming a genuine, therapeutic connection with each client. My goal in each session is that of empathy and understanding all while offering practical tools that can help each client navigate the journey of life with greater stability, strength, and growth. Regardless of your background or past experience with counselors; my aim is to offer you the hope towards a more meaningful life, healthy relationships, and personal well-being. I would be honored to work with you!

Being a counselor likely makes me a very difficult client. I appreciate that Jordan was able to both work with me as any other client and also respect the fact that I am also a professional in the field. I feel that I was able to grow a lot in my comfort with myself and accept the uncertainty of life.
