About Me

I am a marriage and family therapist licensed in California with nearly 6 years working as a psychotherapist. I have experience working with a variety of individuals and families of all ages, however most of my work as a therapist has been with young adults. I am experienced in working with multiple issues such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem and confidence issues, relationship issues, trauma/PTSD and co-dependency. The majority of my experience as a therapist has been working with addictions and substance abuse.
My approach to therapy is empathic and supportive, however, I always let the client and their needs direct the therapy work itself. If what is needed is simply a safe space to talk, vent, and process, I am more than happy to provide that space. If what is needed is structure, guidance, and motivation, I am here to help! I encourage my clients to be vocal about their needs and what they hope to get out of therapy. I am accepting and supportive of all people, and honor diversity. I often utilize CBT techniques to challenge and change negative thinking patterns, and DBT skills to help teach ways of regulating emotions.
I am so glad you are reaching out for help, you are already taking the first step to making positive changes in your life. I look forward to working with you!
