About Me

Hi, I'm Kelli and I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in California. I have provided therapy services in Utah and California, and have been doing so for the last 4 years. I am passionate about the work I do and truly find it rewarding to be able to help someone through a challenging time in their life. I value the opportunity to empower my clients and help them to be their best selves. It is so important to me to be able to help break the stigma that is surrounding mental health, and help others to see that it's okay not to be okay. I also find it beneficial to provide a casual atmosphere for my clients to feel most comfortable; it allows for a more open dialogue and more effective treatment.

I have worked in a variety of settings, including; residential treatment centers, day treatment facilities, psychiatric institutions, outpatient facilities, private practices, and most recently in a high school. My primary approach to therapy includes; Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and a Family Systems approach. I have worked with individuals suffering from a wide range of mental health disorders, including, but not limited to; depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, trauma, abuse, self-esteem, major life changes, parent-child relationship issues, intimate relationship issues, anger, substance abuse, ADHD, Autism Spectrum disorders, and Bipolar disorders.

Reviews

Written by M.A. on Apr 15, 2019 after counseling with Kelli for 2 weeks on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, grief, intimacy-related issues, anger management, and compassion fatigue

Kelli is an intellectual and caring person and knows how to dig into the root of the issues without pushing someone to be uncomfortable with it. She also treats me personally like a normal human being, which is what I’ve been looking for in a counselor; someone who sees me as a person who needs help, not a nutcase on the verge of breaking down. Would definitely recommend.
