About me

Hello and welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, practicing for over 13 years. I have enjoyed my time with clients working to discuss issues related to depression, anxiety, grief, personality disorders, and trauma. I am a LGBTQ+ affirmative therapist and polyamory/non-monogamy informed. I enjoy working with individuals to find meaning and fulfillment in their lives, reaching whatever goals they design for themselves.
I would describe my counseling style as accepting, warm, and non-judgmental. I strive to assist my clients with feeling significance, that their voice is valuable and can be heard. To do so, I treat each client with respect, compassion, and dignity. My approach is eclectic combining the techniques of solution focused, dialectal behavior therapy, and existentialism. My client’s will experience this as an approach that I meet them where they are and walk alongside them as they seek healthier thinking, living, and relationships.
Other things you should know: I am a relaxed and casual professional. My dog often joins me quietly for sessions, he respects all rules involving confidentiality.
It is a gift to be invited on your journey and I can not wait to support and empower you!

Kesha is absolutely phenomenal. She gives me a safe space to talk about things I’ve never been comfortable talking to anyone about. She listens patiently, empathizes, and helps me to re think and see situations in a different way. She is always kind and compassionate, and is never judgmental and never shames me or makes me feel guilty. I always feel validated & supported. I look forward to our sessions each week, and am eternally grateful for the tools we discuss in our conversations to help me cope and live life happier and more fully. Because of her, i finally trust the therapy process, and I recommend Better Help to everyone I talk to when mental health comes up. I am already seeing so much progress! She is definitely a perfect match as a therapist for me. I love her focused, yet laid back style, and that she helps me to implement journaling, “new age” spirituality, music, nature, and other less traditional tools for my homework. It makes me feel valued that she gives me time & space to work on things as I’m ready with no pressure. And it so incredibly comforting that her dog and cat are often nearby during our sessions, as is mine. I could not ask for a better therapist or a better experience. This has been life changing in the best possible way!
