Hello. I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist. I have been working in Private Practice since 2009 and a clinician for over 15 years. I come from a Cognitive Behavioral approach, which means I like to look at a person's thought processes and behaviors. My job is to help you to understand why you do what you do and think what you think. And then empower you to make the decision to either make changes to those thoughts/behaviors or not. My job is not to tell you how to live your life, but rather empower you to live the life that you choose to live, to its fullest. Sometimes there are roadblocks that stand in the way, preventing us from living out our highest potential. I feel honored when someone affords me the opportunity to walk along side of them. I have the utmost respect for those who take on the challenge of change. Change is not easy, and it is not comfortable. But in the end, it is worth the hard work, the fear, and enduring the uncomfortable feeling that you will experience in order to catapult you to a new you.
I am compassionate; honoring all that you have been through and validating your life experiences; I am a tool box, ready to give you therapeutic tools to help you build your life the way you desire it to be: I am a listener, to remind you that what you have to say, what you feel and what you think are important; I am a cheerleader to cheer you on and encourage you to never give up even though the road can be burdensome and overwhelming at times.
I will walk beside you in this journey. I believe your pace is the right pace for you. I will challenge you along the way and will encourage you to the best of my ability to help you achieve all that you choose to achieve emotionally for yourself. I look forward to entering this journey with you.

Ms. Navarro is such a great person, she understands me in such a great level. I love doing the assignments she gives me because those assignments help me understand who I truly am. Always gives the best advice she can and has helped me out a lot.
Kimberly Navarro is extremely professional, and attentive to her client's needs and concerns. Through every correspondence, I felt that she really paid attention to what I had to say, and put a lot of thought into her responses. I had the opportunity to work on my relationship with my partner with Kimberly, and felt that she was unbiased and did a great job balancing the session's discussions between us. I think Kimberly is the best therapist I have worked with thus far and highly recommend her.
Ms. Navarro is a wonderful listener. She thoughtfully considers everything I have shared with her and takes the time to respond to it in a way that demonstrates her understanding, empathy and sincere interest in helping. I’ve had several therapists in the past and Ms. Navarro exceeds all of them as far as her commitment to the patient and their general wellbeing. I’m extremely happy I connected with her and look forward to continuing to explore tough topics with her — I really feel like I have support.
