Hi, my name is Kim Stevens, welcome to the BetterHelp website and thank you for taking the time to read my profile. As you read about me you will see that I am new to the field but not new to the areas of helping others and mental health. From a young age without having training or certifications, I was helping others and had an interest in a person's well-being. After a career in public accounting, I am now able to return to my first calling, and one I take personal interest and pride in doing. I have helped others and would like to help you. If you would like to reach out and take that first step, please contact me. I work with individuals from college age through senior adults. I have a strong ability to recognize the impact of family issues like alcoholism or other obsessive compulsive behaviors of the individual. This leads to work in depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief, chronic illness, relationship issues and career development. For those clients that I refer for psychiatric consultation for possible prescription medication, know that I do so extremely conscientiously. Although it can be an integral component, there are other factors critical to good and balanced mental health. I provide a safe and authentic, compassionate atmosphere to work with clients towards goals.

Kimberley has stepped in and helped me see clearly at a very difficult moment. She is excellent.
Kimberly is very warm and understanding. She listens with her full attention and always gives great insight. She met me where I was and never forced anything on me. She provided great guidance where needed. I found her to be a great person to talk to. I worked with her with over two months during tough times and found her to be very helpful. I would certainly come back if I need to and would highly recommend her.
Kim has been helping me for last 2 months and she has been really helpful. My issues are complicated and I myself was troubled finding out exactly what I am going through. I knew some parts of it, but often I was confused. She was patient and encouraging, I've felt good leaving the session and during the week when I was anxious. I was having hard time getting through days at one point so it was very good to have a counselor I could depend on. Kim was particularly great at directing me to be confident as I was having hard time, so justifying what I couldn't do it myself, in a non-intimidating way was extremely helpful. I knew some of the things she recommended me to do, but I just couldn't do it, so her help and assurance was appreciated. Thank you Kim for helping me through hard and complicated time.
Kimberley is brilliant. Caring, funny, understanding, and flexible, not to mention skilled! I can wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone.
After having 2 scheduled sessions with Kimberley, I can already say that she is providing me with appropriate support & strategies and also is assisting me to understand a lot about myself. She knows exactly what to say, allows you to speak openly with no judgement and is completely reassuring. Whenever I write something that needs attention in my daily journal, she will then take the time to message about this. I’m looking forward to continuing the journey with her support :-)
