About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor (LPCC-S) in Ohio with over five years of experience working with youth and adults. I have a Master's of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, career challenges, stress management, risk/safety concerns, and trauma. I also have experience working with people who have drug and alcohol concerns. I worked as a director at an integrated treatment facility for those struggling with co-occurring concerns of substance use and mental illness. I am currently employed as an Outpatient Therapist and Clinical Supervisor as I enjoy working with clients as well as providing clinical supervision to other counselors and seeing their growth and development.

My counseling style is a person centered, strength based approach while utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution focused interventions. In addition to interventions, a collaborative counseling relationship is vital while working toward individualized treatment goals to meet your specific needs. I believe counseling is most effective with an interactive, empathetic, and supportive counseling relationship with open communication and feedback.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family and our two dogs as well as relaxing at the lake.

You have taken the first, and often hardest, step in this journey and I'd love to be a part of this with you. I look forward to working with you!
