I am a licensed professional counselor in Colorado with over 7 years of experience working as a therapist. I received my Master's Degree from the University of Denver and enjoy all that Colorado has to offer. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and infertility. I also have helped many individuals who have experienced physical trauma and emotional abuse.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, and solution focused. I believe in providing tools that can be used right away to create the change you want to see in yourself. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

Lauren is a incredible counselor, she has already helped me in so many ways. I am so much more optimistic about myself and my future than I was three months ago. She really has a way of making you feel so comfortable talking and opening up. She is very professional, respectful, and patient. What I enjoy most, is it doesn’t feel like I’m talking to a robot with a series of questions and conversation guiding, Lauren has encouraged me to just take things at my own speed and has given me great tools to use in my everyday life. So much of my life has improved already. I am excited to continue our sessions and working together!
Lauren is a truly gentle and compassionate human whose ideas and tactics permeate and circumvent even the most tenacious thought distortions and unhealthy habits. Without fail, she always recommends an exercise or worksheet that forces me to objectively analyze situations that would have caused a spiral-out before. After more than a decade of battling a toxic relationship with food, I am finally making and recognizing progress in myself, which is a change I didn't believe could happen previously.
I just started but it's been a great outlet to vent and talk to Lauren. She asks great questions and offers worksheets for me to sort through my feelings. So far so good!
