About Me

As Mahatma Gandhi said “Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will” and I am a believer that even in our weakest moments, we have the capacity to tap into our own personal strength although, we sometimes need guidance to find the will. I offer myself as that guide. I am a psychotherapist with 18 years of experience. I have extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, personality disorders, phobias, ADHD, grief and loss, work/family stress, negative behavior patterns, self-defeating behaviors, relationship issues, and chronic pain.
I am an experienced cognitive-behavioral therapist and Behavioral Tech trained in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). I am also a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher and find these modalities highly effective in treating various emotional and behavior issues in adolescents and adults
I take an individualized approach to each client to help promote positive change and growth which ultimately leads to more balance, peace and fulfillment. When working with me, you will find that I view every personal challenge with warmth, openness, compassion and above all else, empathy.
