Hi, I am glad you are here. It is a big step to realize you might need assistance and an even bigger step to take the initiative to contact someone. Let me tell you a bit about myself and if I seem to be a good fit for you we can begin as soon as you would like.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Hawaii. I began my career in Seattle, Washington at the University of Washington. I graduated with an undergraduate degree in psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work. I began working in community mental health with underserved populations. I then spent a number of years in a Medication Assisted Treatment facility counseling folks who were living with addictions and mental health issues. While a difficult job it was very rewarding to see progress.
When I moved to Hawaii I worked in private practice treating people with a variety of needs, yes even in “paradise” people have mental health concerns. I returned to mental health/addiction treatment for court ordered clients. This involved working with people whose issues, along with addiction, included anger management, criminal behavior and mental health. Throughout my career I have worked with veterans and active military members, which I do now on a volunteer basis. I am fortunate to have had such broad experiences with a wide variety of people. This has enabled me to be non-judgmental, open-minded, and willing to meet you where you are at.
I take a very client centered approach and encourage feedback. I bring the tools and you will bring the content; together we can find what will work for you. As no two individuals are alike nor should therapy be the same for each person. I have had the benefit of learning many different evidence-based therapies and do not feel bound to any one type of treatment. This allows my clients to assist in crafting their own treatment which in turn increases the likelihood of success!
The beauty of being able to provide services through Better Health is the flexibility of service provision. That said if you think I may be a good fit please feel free to contact me anytime to begin.

Madam Stilwell is an experienced therapist who truly wants the best for her clients. She is understanding, supportive, and professional. I am very comfortable with her during the weekly session. With her help, I become more rational when I gotta deal with my marital problems and anger issues. It’s so frustrating when your loved one keeps your hopes up and doesn’t listen to your words. But, there is always another way out. Be grateful and happy and cherish the moment you have with people you love really matters. That is what I learned from her.
