Hi there! My name is Livvy Gerrish. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Wyoming. I became a social worker because I wanted to help people navigate their stories. I believe that every person is living a wonderful, exciting, terrifying, challenging, and meaningful story. Sometimes there are dark chapters in a person's story and it is helpful to have someone join them in their journey. Over the course of my career, I have worked with individuals experiencing trauma, crisis, grief, and both long and short term mental health barriers.
As a therapist, I believe that you are the expert in your own experience. You know yourself and your surroundings best and I trust you to be an active part of your treatment. I am a person-centered therapist. As our work continues we may engage in other types of therapy to assist you. I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapies, exposure therapies, as well as more experiential therapies.
I look forward to working with you!
