I would like to help you identify the challenges, barriers and negative thought patterns that are preventing you from achieving your goals and enjoying a happy life. We can work together to identify your strengths and supports in order to develop positive coping strategies, thoughts and behaviors. I look at each person as an individual and will use the best therapeutic methods to meet your needs.

I have worked in this field for over 20 years and have experience in a variety of settings such as community agencies, providing in home counseling for those that are homebound, as well as within my private practice. I have also taught undergraduate courses in the human services field as an adjunct professor. I look forward to working with you.

Marybeth has been very helpful in encouraging me to be more patient and kind to myself so that I can work through a variety of complex problems related to my mental and emotional health.
She has been helping me work through an eating disorder, depression, anxiety, and trauma.
I recommend her to anyone experiencing those issues or anything else. She is compassionate and being able to communicate with messaging outside a traditional 1 hour appointment has been extremely beneficial.

Marybeth is wonderful! She is calm and patient. She is ready to support your needs on your time. She shows interest and urgency but does not make you feel pressured to open up or respond.

Marybeth is a absolute pleasure to have, she really takes the time to read between the lines and highlight certain things that are important for me to discuss and does not diminish my opinions or feelings. Truly I feel so heard and have learned so much about my own behaviors but also the behaviors of others around me and how to set boundaries that feel comfortable.

Marybeth is very understanding and nonjudgmental. She's very informative and likes to focus on strategies to help me cope with my anxiety; separating my past and focusing more on the present to help me in the NOW. She's very prompt in her messages. I have been messaging her for less than a month and have already seen improvements and will continue to work along with her on solutions to help me cope on everyday life.

I wasn't so sure about the chatting thing, but Marybeth is responsive so you know someone is there who is trying to help you deal with your issues while the chatting format allows you to have space and keep your own schedule. So far, I would recommend Marybeth as someone who isn't pushy but still manages to pick out points that are triggering you so that you can work through them.

Marybeth has been my counsellor for the last 4 weeks, she has been very patient and always tried to guide me to find the solution myself.

She is very understanding and not pushy. She goes step by step to get into the problems and understands them very well.
I can now with her help, work on my problems methodically and rationally, which is a huge step forward compare to where I was at the beginning.

I would definitely recommend her!
