About me

I have been providing mental health therapy in a variety of settings since 2012. I have a bachelors degree in social work, a masters degree in social work, and a doctorate degree in social work. I have been independently licensed in the state of Ohio since 2015. I have worked in community mental health as well as private practice over the last 8 years. Some of my experience includes school-based counseling for K-12, office based counseling for families, children, teens, adults, and college-aged students, as well as providing in-home therapy for teens and families. I have enjoyed all of these different settings. Using solution-focused, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and trauma informed approaches are important to me as I help all people receive the help they need. I have experience in working with anxiety, depression, life changes, work-related stress, relationships, domestic violence, sexual violence, and trauma. Having a safe, confidential way for people to share their thoughts and feelings is important as I used treatment methods most beneficial for what you need. Empathy and connection are important as we work towards coping and finding strengths for life's challenges.
