I have over ten years of experience treating adults and specialize in anxiety, difficulty adjusting to life changes, and communication/relationship issues. I am a relational therapist with a psychodynamic orientation and also incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy. In other words, I place importance on the therapeutic relationship and trust, how one relates to themselves and others, and the development of insight and deeper understanding. This also means I will brainstorm with you and give direct advice where needed if you want it or if I think you may benefit from it. I believe that the combination of a trusting relationship, discovery, understanding, and practical advice leads to the most beneficial outcome and helps in both the short and long term.
