About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado and completed my MA at the University of Colorado-Denver in Counseling. I have worked in the mental health field for three years in school settings. I identify as a bilingual, Spanish-speaking, bicultural, Latina within the LGBTQ+ community and use she/her/hers pronouns. Most of my professional experience has been working with youth and families on issues related to stress, anxiety, grief, relationships, among other things. I believe that generational trauma, attachment style, family upbringing, intersectionality and cultural conditioning all influence the way we show up in the world. It is up to us to identify and unlearn maladaptive patterns of behavior. My goal is to help individuals feel connected to themselves and others through increased self-awareness. My general approach when working with individuals is building rapport and creating a safe space that is conducive to growth. I am only accepting clients who reside in the state of Colorado. I look forward to working with you.
