About Me

Hi there! I'm a licensed professional counselor in Alaska with 8 years of experience. I primarily treat depression, anxiety, work stress, school stress, and relationship problems. I started my own practice 3 years ago, and my mission is to help clients improve emotional and physical self-care.

After college I volunteered at a nonprofit legal clinic in Chicago for a year. I later moved to Virginia, where I worked in student affairs at a university. It was there that I became passionate about helping students manage stress and improve their self-care. That experience led me to enroll in counseling school.

It is so exciting to see clients gain insight and develop healthy coping skills for managing the challenges of daily living. My approach combines person-centered therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. I believe that my clients are the experts on their lives, and I work with them on identifying unproductive thoughts that may be hindering their growth.

Thank you so much for visiting my profile! I'm looking forward to working with you!
