About Me

Hello and thank you for stopping by! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California. I obtained my Master Degree in Counseling Psychology from Cal Baptist University. I have been working in the mental health field for six years with clients in a community, hospital, residential and in-home setting.

I have a wide range of experience in clinical issues that include anxiety and stress -related issues, LGBTQ+ issues, depression, self-harm, suicidal, anger and aggression, substance use, intellectual/developmental delays, trauma, and abuse.

My passion is to learn about people and where they are at in their current life journey. My counseling style is client-centered, holistic, and I believe in treating everyone with compassion, empathy, sensitivity and respect. I believe that everyone has story and a life journey, and I tend to meet them where they are at in that journey. My goal is to help clients achieve their goals and aspirations to be where they want to be. I tend to be solution- focused and strength based, and believe that everyone has the ability to find the answers with help from a nonjudgmental, impartial person. Although I tend to be solution-focused, I also incorporate principles from a variety of treatment approaches to best assist the presenting need.

It is my opinion that every hardship, mistake, life event helps shape us to who we are, but does not define us. It takes courage to make that first step to seek help and I am looking forward to walking with you on this journey.
