About Me

Welcome! My name is Rose Skeeters. I currently hold a master's degree in professional counseling and have been working as a professional counselor for several years. I am a licensed professional in the state of Pennsylvania. I received my undergraduate degree from Temple University and completed graduate studies at LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA. I am a skilled clinician, providing empirically supported treatments to individuals with varying diagnoses, including, yet not limited to: depression, stress and anxiety, relationship issues and interpersonal conflicts, trauma and abuse, disordered eating, and motivation/self-esteem issues. I am experienced in utilizing CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, ACT, Behavioral Activation (BA), change psychology and positive psychology. I also have a passion for fitness and nutrition and hold a renowned certification through Precision Nutrition. I currently work with individuals with disordered eating through my nutrition coaching practice and enjoy teaching others how to utilize food to fuel their bodies and to rediscover the joy of nourishment.

I believe in counseling the whole being to achieve a life worth living. Through my practice, I have developed intelligent, logical, and practical strategies to help others overcome their obstacles and unlock their true potential. Taking the first step towards change can be a scary and difficult decision. It takes a giant leap of faith to begin the path of healing. Be proud of yourself for taking this step as it is a sign of courage and strength. I would be honored to walk with you on your journey towards inner peace, healing, self-acceptance, and personal growth.

Rose is an excellent counselor. She is attentive, considerate and identifies specific problems that you may be struggling with. She gives very helpful information and messages regularly to give homework and exercises that are beneficial in helping to overcome negative feelings and emotions. Excellent.

I have been working with Rose for a few months now and I have to say it has been a great experience. I was worried about going in person and I found Rose through BetterHelp. After just one video chat she had me working on exercises and she would encourage me daily. Within a few short weeks I was already beginning to understand how to address issues I’d been carrying around for years. Rose Skeeters is a phenomenal talent and truly cares about her patients. I am so glad I took the leap and worked with her; it has truly been a life changing experience.

Rose is a wonderful counselor. She listens and remains neutral. She also sends homework and other content to reflect on between sessions. I would definitely recommend her to a friend.

I have been working with Rose recently after battling extreme anxiety issues for my entire life and have been embarrassed to ever reach out for help. And so far I'm seeing that this was the best thing I have ever done for my anxiety. I feel very comfortable with Rose and excited to finally see that something might help. This type of therapy is unbelievably convenient and extremely professional. I would recommend this to anyone and actually encourage people to explore this therapy as i see now that after 30 years just beginning to talk to a professional has opened my eyes to a better way to go about handling this disorder. Rose is an excellent choice for therapy as she really tries to work in detail with you.

I started working with Rose a few weeks ago. I started opening up to her slowly but it didn't take her long to figure out what was causing me all the stress and anxiety and feelings of loneliness in my life. In fact, she helped me realize that the things that I always thought were “wrong” about me, were actually my strengths. She is amazingly helpful especially during the live sessions where I often find myself having multiples “aha” moments. I have made tremendous progress in a very short amount of time, and definitely look forward to working more with her and finding my happy.

In just a few sessions, Rose helped me identify lifelong issues I was having that I didn't even realize were issues, let alone connecting them all to a root cause. I like how she wants to push forward instead of dwelling on the past. I'm excited and have belief that Rose can help me to become happier and healthier.

Rose has been instrumental in assisting me on my journey to self-love, acceptance, and forgiveness! She is kind and patient, and even funny when the moment is right (something I value a great deal!). We are just starting on DBT now and though it is intimidating, with her support I know I can do it. Thank you for everything you do, Rose! :)
